Default Nike Air Max Moto 5+

From Runner's World:
Quote:
The latest Moto comes with a new last and a semirigid sockliner--the same one found in the Triax and Pegasus 2006--that comfortably cradles the foot. What's more, the rearfoot curves up slightly over the back of the foot to better lock the heel in place. Even though Nike added a durable section of foam in the heel for improved cushioning, the Moto is still firm, according to our RW Shoe Lab tests. We recommend it for runners with high arches who need a durable everyday trainer.

Default Re: Nike Air Max Moto

From Nike:
Quote:
CONSTRUCTION
We’ve thought about the demands placed on the body so the wearer doesn’t have to. Look
what we’ve put out back. A new and improved 12mm rearfoot Nike Air unit pressurised to
12 psi. It’s sealed in a mid - sole frame which aids in articulation during heel strike. Around
the front the Air Max Moto’s cushioning is just as impressive with a 6mm zoom pressurised
Nike Air unit. The large volume Max Air unit in the heel and Nike Zoom Air unit
in the forefoot are complimented further by the Cushlon mid - sole
and soft duralon rubber in the forefoot. For added heel stability, an internal heel counter holds the
heel frmly in place.

FIT-SOLE SOCK LINeR
Our Fit - sole sock liner moulds to the shape of the foot during running, which reduces slippage and
blisters. Stability is improved and pressure dispersed as more of the foot’s plantar surface
makes contact with the sock liner. The upper is a 2 layer mesh that allows your
foot to breathe but keeps out the moisture. A midfoot saddle holds your foot frmly in place.

NATURAL MOTION
Using NATURAL MOTION technology, the Air Max Moto works with the body using an
anatomically inspired fex-groove pattern. So the kms may clock up on a run, but the
aches and pains don’t have to.

WOMEN
Women have different running requirements, which is why we designed the NIKE Women’s
Air Max Moto+ 6 with them specifcally in mind. Deeper fex grooves along the forefoot of the
outersole assist with the increased mobility that only women possess. This also helps
engage the windlass mechanism during the toe off phase. At the back, we’ve added a radiused
carbon rubber rearfoot to add smoothness during touchdown. The female specifc last provides a snug ft in
heel and midfoot, along with a seamless mesh construction in the forefoot means less stress
on a woman’s body while she runs.
