Default Asics Gel Evolution 3

From Runner's World:
Quote:
The updated Evolution is about half an ounce lighter than its predecessor, and it features a wider arch bridge that has been reinforced with thicker ribs for added pronation control. With its roomier forefoot, the shoe should fit more foot types. Asics also dropped the ankle collar height slightly and shifted the lacing system back, so the shoe wraps the rearfoot more snugly. Recommended for average-weight runners with flat arches who want a relatively lightweight motion-control shoe.

From ASICS:

An all new development for this popular model – the GEL-Evolution 4 has been built for the severe over pronator who wants to experience that great ASICS ride. Carries an extended trusstic system that feeds through to the back heel for maximum support; this feature works in conjunction with a medial outsole wrap which also assists for this profile of wearer. The shoe still provides a great ride throughout the entire gait – but offers the support when it’s most needed.

KEY FEATURES
• Leading IGS technology
• Biomorphic Fit upper
• AHAR Ride +in the forefoot for a great feel under foot
• Solyte midsole keeps the weight to a minimum

Asics Gel-Evolution 4

From Runners World:
Quote:
The latest Evolution is a superb shoe for serious overpronators. Asics extended the shoe's plastic midfoot bridge back to keep the foot from rolling too far inward. This design is enhanced by a new last (the form around which the shoe is constructed) that provides more space in the forefoot while narrowing the circumference of the ankle collar to lock the heel in place. These changes make the shoe more than half an ounce heavier than its predecessor, however. Recommended for bigger runners with flat arches who need plenty of support.
