A lightweight, low-profile training shoe that offers added medial stability without sacrificing a smooth heel-to-toe ride. For such a lightweight shoe, it has a well-cushioned heel. The heel-to-toe transition was rated exceptionally high by our testers. The average-midfoot, relaxed-forefoot fit was noted by all testers, as was the low arch. The upper did accommodate orthotics quite well for a racer/trainer. The cosmetics are an order of magnitude improvement over the 900, 901 and 902.
P-Factor: Neutral Runners and Slight Overpronators
This outstanding update has the same sole as the previous version but benefits from the addition of flexible N-Lock bands in the upper, which connect the laces to the midsole for a supportive midfoot wrap. And the new rounded sockliner better conforms to the shape of the foot. Testers raved about the results of these updates and commented on the 903's outstanding fit. Recommended for biomechanically efficient runners with normal arches looking for a comfortable speedwork shoe.
